A genre-hybrid game which features extensive 20v20 battles in a fully 3D destructible environment.

The available characters fall into a few archetypes (warrior, cleric, wizard). Out-of-game, players create and customise several characters, deciding the appearance and abilities of each. In-game, players start with a low-power character, and by earning points they can swap to one of their stronger characters later.

Each team is divided into 5 squads of 4 members each, and the squads are given roles to perform within the team (2 for invading, 1 for capturing towers, 2 for defending the castle). Players generate resources for completing activities related to their squad's role. These include building ballistae, capturing the towers on each lane, or destroying castle walls and defences.

The game is over when one team breaks into the enemy's keep (an indoors environment) and defeats the core.

As well 20v20, there is a free-for-all mode with 5 teams!

Players pick a Retainer and a Vessel, which together form the stats and abilities of a complete character known as a 'Syndicate'. During the game, Vessels may be dropped and swapped with an allied player's Vessel to allow strategic pivoting and creative combos.

Buffs, debuffs, and dispels will play an important role in combat. There are also plans to experiment with enabling friendly fire.

A mobile game which is being developed based on the auto-battler AutoChess, making use of the same assets. Many of the items, characters, and synergies(!) that players are familiar with will be retained in this new format.

The game promises competitive fairness by having all characters unlocked for free and no in-game stats tied to the user's account. It also brings some new mechanics to the mobile space: including a day-night cycle and trees which can be chopped down.

Citing DotA and League of Legends as inspiration, Eterlands adds an interactive physical environment with cliffs, trees that can be chopped down and dragged, bridges and rock walls which can be destroyed, and breaking dams to flood parts of the map which will slow enemies down. There is also a dynamic weather system.

The game seems to have never left concept phase, and available footage is minimal.

A game with characters from various mythologies. Its planned features include a weather system which alters the map on a per-match basis, and a dedicated terrain deformation role within the team.

VR game which blends hero shooters and mobas. It has a destructable environment, and super minions are beckoned forth when a player raises both hands into the air!

No relation to Megalith (2005).

Drops you into a community that is overwhelmingly positive, and interested in everyone's personal growth as leaders and team players. This game makes teams feel like teams.

The game will ship with a co-op lane-pushing survival mode, as well as extensive tools for modding and creating new lane-pushing games.

Its lead designer is Softmints: author of this site and two previous lane-pushing games: Dota Outland and Rise of Winterchill (2007).

Simple 1v1 one-lane game, offers some troop customisation but not much else.

A 2D-platformer lane-pushing game. Has interesting elements of verticality, as heroes can drop quickly from top lane to lower ones.

Characters from various DC Comics battle in an interactive urban environment. Heroes can pick up cars and throw them, detonate nearby hot dog stands, or create more debris with their abilities.
