A project with the aim to innovate on the stagnant waters of the MOBA space. The game's design starts with a conservative approach which respects the core principles of the genre, and will involve community-led iteration to brainstorm new features.

The game draws on Heroes of the Storm for its talent system and mercenary camps, League of Legends for summoner spells, Dota2 for asymmetric items and denying troops, and Heroes of Newerth for fast-paced combat and a darker atmosphere.

A Quake-inspired lane-pushing game developed using the Dota 2 modding tools.

D10

A Chinese game which blends features from League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm. For example, the game includes mounts.

There is no English translation as of yet. It is actually called "D10"!

Players capture "territory" on their path to victory, and abilities sometimes behave differently on friendly territory. Heroes have access to both regular and hero-specific items (which can be unlocked on a player's account).

Primarily a hero shooter, but has a basic lane-pushing mode with a single lane. Aside from levelling up, heroes can build miniature towers, healing pads, or accelerator pads at a few predetermined locations.

Simplifies many traditional lane-pushing game mechanics to focus on being a structured team-brawling game. It has a huge range of maps to play on with varying objectives, and relies entirely on hero-specific talent trees to provide customisation options during each match.

Heavily asymmetric game with large armies and role-focused heroes. Has clever and thematic mechanics for troop upgrades and management. There are only 6 heroes to choose from on each team!

Has a large number of deeply interwoven mechanics, leading to a complex and deep competitive experience. Players have shown a high level of engagement with its massive esports scene: with the annual 'The International' tournament consistently offering the biggest prize-pools in esports history.

An ambitious and heavily-featured game of grand strategy. Teams first select one of four factions (Elves, Orcs, Creeps, Undead) which each have their own armies and hero pools. They then battle on one of five maps of wildly varying sizes, each with different objectives.

Players can destroy and rebuild outposts, construct towers and fortify their bases, reinforce specific lanes with extra troops, or re-route lanes to different locations. The heroes each have six abilities which can be empowered with a range of talents, while upgradable items can shore up weaknesses or bolster their strengths.

EotA: Twilight shares a universe with two other games: a co-op survival called EotA: Exodus and a team escape called EotA: Maze.
